Every product decision starts with one question: is this safer for the child? Here is how we keep our community trustworthy.

Before a tutor goes live

  • Identity verified with government-issued ID and liveness check.
  • Background check in jurisdictions where legally available.
  • Reference checks and a teaching assessment scored by our AI and reviewed by humans.

During lessons

  • All lessons happen inside our platform with optional recording for safeguarding.
  • Real-time safety filters flag inappropriate language in chat for review.
  • Parents can join, observe, or end any lesson at any time.

Reporting

Tap Report on any tutor profile, message, or lesson — or email safety@edutrustconnect.com. Trust & Safety acknowledges every report within 24 hours and resolves most cases within 72 hours.

Moderation actions

  • Coaching: for first-time, low-risk policy issues.
  • Temporary suspension: while we investigate a credible report.
  • Permanent removal: for safeguarding breaches, fraud, harassment or repeated violations.
  • Law enforcement referral: for any suspected illegal activity, especially anything involving a minor.

Parent controls

  • Block any tutor from contacting your family with one tap.
  • Mute notifications, restrict subjects, and set lesson time windows for each child.
  • Download a complete record of your child's lessons, messages and reports at any time.

Our commitment

We treat child safety as non-negotiable. If you ever feel unsure about a tutor, contact us first — we'd rather investigate ten false alarms than miss one real concern.
